BB ASNAF MEDICARE APPEAL

💝Jumuah Appeal:
BB ASNAF LIVING AID – Help two widows, their orphans and a struggling mother make ends meet.

A man once complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the hardness of his heart so the Messenger ﷺ said to him, “If you want to soften your heart then feed the poor and stroke the head of the orphan” (Aḥmad).

Alhamdulilah ala kulli hal, this Jumuah we bring to you 3 cases that urgently needs your kind help.

1️⃣ Shila – This 44 years old widow is mother of 3 orphans. She suffers from breast cancer stage 4 and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Shila is very sick, unable to properly care and feed her children age between 12-17 years old. Shila is unemployed, and is from Myanmar. However her children holds blue NRICs as their late father was Malaysian. Shila currently receives RM580 from Baitulmal.

2️⃣ Natrah – This 41 years old widow is mother of 2 orphaned girls age 11 and 15 years old. Recently, Natrah suffers from spinal pain and is unable to lift anything heavy, bend or squat. Natrah earns halal rizq to feed her children by babysitting. A dedicated learner of Ilm, Natrah also teaches Quran to a few neighbouring children. Natrah earns RM300 monthly from babysitting one OKU child and RM100-200 from the infaq of teaching quran.

3️⃣ Salmah – This 48 years old mother of 5 children is MashaAllah, zaujah solehah, a righteous and loving mother and wife to a husband (former Imam) who has been bedridden (full paralysis and being fed through a tube in the stomach) for the last 4 years after a severe stroke. We highlighted this family plight in May 2022 and the family has been receiving monthly aid from BB Asnaf till now. The homecare expense in caring for the husband is high – RM1826 monthly which covers the pampers, pharmaceuticals, special milk etc. These were sponsored by Zakat initially but since early this year, the payments (direct to pharmacy) has not resumed. Eldest son just finished university and the rest are still studying at University, boarding and tahfiz schools.

4️⃣ UPDATE on Bilal Mohd – Alhamdulillah he is getting better. We have recorded a short audio of his adzan in the above video. May Allah grant everyone who reached out to him immense pahala sadaqah jariah and the highest paradise. Ameen.
