• Save Ahmed Al Dhale’i Hussein – 15 years old orphan’s heart is failing

▪️ The pain and suffering that 15 years old orphan, Ahmed Hussein has to endure seems neverending. In mid 2023, Ahmed had severe pneumonia and underwent a critically needed procedure to enable him to urinate and defecate. The procedure saved his life biiznillah.

▪️ A few days ago, we received a plea from Ahmed’s guardian in Yemen again. Clinical and laboratory examination diagnosis revealed severe weakness in the heart muscles. Because of his blood pressure and high blood sugar, he couldnt breathe normally and his heart became critically stenotic, requiring an operation (valvuloplasty) to expand the valve.

▪️ For those new to this case – Ahmed lost his home and both his parents when Hodeida was bombed in 2020.

▪️ Although Ahmed survived the bombing, he was critically injured, especially around his abdomen, groin and testis area. The photos of his injuries are too disturbing for us to share. A number of surgeries were carried out to ensure Ahmed could live a normal life.

▪️ Fundraising Target: RM15,000. Valvuloplasty RM8200 (Excluding: Hospitalisation, diagnostic and post procedure care)
The cost of hospitalising Ahmed, treatment needed and post surgery care is substantial as Ahmed has many other chronic diseases due to his past injuries from the bombing and being diabetic, we anticipate Ahmed’s road to recovery will take quite some time.

▪️ Ahmed lives with his relative. And has been receiving monthly food and health aid from us since 2020. The family he lives with is very poor but very kind. The whole family only lives in a small room in Sanaa, Yemen, as they could not afford a house.
